My name is Melissa Henderson I have been doing nails for about 24 years.
In my teenage years I was a bad nail biter and I said to myself I need to do something about this.
I went off to study nails and did my first nail training course through CND. I loved it so much that after a year I went on to complete a second training course, this time with OPI. I decided to become an educator for OPI so that I could master the skill all while learning new and exciting developments in the industry.
Since establishing my company Beautiful Nails by Melissa, I have added additional services such as; Waxing, Tanning and Nail Technician Training.
12 years ago, I was approached by NailX Beauty in Christchurch to do training and education for them and recently I have gone on to complete the Lola Lee ® Professional Training Course, qualifying me to teach their nail course/s (Gel Polish / Hard Gel) to my students.
24 year later and I'm still loving it and would love to be training full-time.
